Shared yurt accommodation
There will be a number of beds in shared yurt and indoor accommodation reserved for our use on the Friday and Saturday evenings.
First refusal for these spaces will go to advanced singers who may be invited for additional rehearsals on the day before the workshop. We will have a waiting list for other singers to be offered spaces on a first-come-first-served basis, so please ask to be added to the list as soon as possible if you are interested.
Although Brighton Singing Workshops will be managing the allocation of spaces on these two nights, all accommodation fees are payable directly to the farm in cash upon arrival.
Cost of shared accommodation: £40 per person per night
Information about self-catering facilities is available on the Food and drink page
Unfortunately, while Yoghurt Rooms is a great place to camp in the summer, we feel that camping on site will not be viable on our 12th March date.
Caravans and camper vans
There is hard ground to accommodate caravans and camper vans, although no electrical hookups can be provided.
All camping and larger vehicle arrangements are to be made in advance directly with the farm manager, and fees are payable in cash direct to the farm upon arrival.
Cost of caravan or camper van: £20 per van per night + £10 per occupant per night
All of the outdoor and glamping accommodation options have access to decent showers and fully plumbed toilet facilities.
Additional – more adventurous! – toilet options are also available further from the farm house which are just as decent and very handy for the yurt residents.
East Grinstead is home to a wide variety of hotels, guest houses, pub accommodation and hostels. Here is a small selection of the farm’s recommended hotels and B&Bs.
Great Harwoods Farm
Situated right on same lane as the farm, this option is just 10 min walk to Yoghurt Rooms.
Gothic House 55
Beautiful B&B connected to a very good cafe in the old Tudor part of East Grinstead.
Brambletye Manor Barn
Beautiful rooms and beautiful grounds. Not too far from us actually if you go cross country, but you would need a good sense of direction.
A typical low cost travel inn, 10 mins drive away from our venue.
An old, established hotel in the centre of Forest Row. This village has everything. It is also the gateway to the Ashdown Forest.
Main hotel in East Grinstead. A more luxurious option with a spa.
